How to maintain agarwood bracelets?

How to maintain agarwood bracelets?

1. Keep them clean: Before playing with agarwood bracelets, make sure to wash your hands and dry them thoroughly. It's best to wear clean, odorless cotton gloves because water can reduce the oil content of agarwood bracelets, making their scent lighter. Also, avoid contact with chemicals (such as skincare and makeup products) as the oil in the bracelets may undergo chemical changes and spoil.

2. Keep then away from water: Wooden bracelets are especially sensitive to water, so do not soak them or let them come into contact with water frequently. If it's a damp day, store them in a sealed bag to prevent mold.

3. Beware of odor absorption: Agarwood is porous and can easily absorb odors. Any foreign smells will affect the scent of the bracelet, so avoid smoking while wearing them, and take them off when entering kitchens, hospitals, or restrooms. Do not store them near strong-smelling items such as durian.

4. Do not expose them to direct sunlight: The oil in agarwood bracelets can easily evaporate in high-temperature environments, affecting their scent and causing them to crack. The power of the sun is especially strong in summer. If you have a car, do not leave the bracelet inside during the summer as the temperature inside a closed car can reach over 60 degrees Celsius within 20 minutes.

5. Wear them often: The more you wear them, the better. Bracelets that are left untouched for a long time will gradually lose its vitality and become dull and lifeless.
