Agarwood from Different Parts of tree: Board-Cut Agarwood
The appearance and characteristics of agarwood produced from different locations on the agarwood tree are also very different.
When the agarwood tree has a planar wound (generally caused by knife and ax damage or lateral breakage of the tree), a large area of wound will cause the tree to form a thin but densely oily incense body. This shape and edge are not The regular flat incense body is called Bantou Agarwood.
